We love getting stoned just like the next chick but none of that would be possible without canna OGs like Charlo that made it possible for us to light up legally. In case you missed it, canna pioneer and journalist Charlo Greene went viral before going viral was a thing. Back in 2014 while reporting live on air, she made a shocking announcement by saying: "F*ck It! I quit." Charlo went on to become one of the first Black leaders in this industry. Talk about being a boss, Charlo successfully led Alaska's 2014 effort to legalize recreational marijuana. Making it the third in the nation to legalize usage for adults. For free 99 she shared valuable resources to our pink stoners and fellow canna entrepreneurs. She also revealed that her historic achievement of legalizing cannabis came with a hefty price tag. Very candidly, she shared that she is facing up to 54 years in prison even though cannabis is now LEGAL! But that's another story that we don't have time to tell you about.
